About UFCC

Unity Family Community Center was created in 2002 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to improve the quality of life of families and individuals by providing services and opportunities designed to create a culture of CARE (Compassionate, Articulate, Relational, and Effective).

Services Provided by UFCC

Sexual Risk Education Program (SRAE)

We focus on three key goals: encouraging adolescents to choose abstinence advocacy, equipping youth with skills to avoid high-risk behaviors, and expanding partnerships to combat Teen Pregnancy, STDs, and HIV.

Students Winning and Achieving Goals (SWAG)

The S.W.A.G. afterschool program in Levy County, for children aged 5-17, focuses on reducing juvenile delinquency. It supports academic achievement through diverse, quality activities that boost creativity, interest, and self-esteem.

The L.E.A.P (Learn. Engage. Achieve. Participate) Mentoring Program

The L.E.A.P Mentoring Program in Levy County equips youth with essential academic, social, and personal skills for school success and future endeavors. It also aims to reduce minority overrepresentation in the juvenile justice system.

My Brother's Keeper

My Brother’s Keeper targets six milestones: early healthy development, reading by third grade, high school graduation with college or career readiness, post-secondary education or training, successful workforce entry, and ensuring safety and opportunities for second chances.

Vocational Rehabilitation

These services are designed to help individuals transition into future careers.
