History

United Family Community Center (UFCC) was established in 2002 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Founder Willie A. Battles was inspired by a strong commitment to helping improve the lives of individuals in his community. This included supporting people’s spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, and holistic wellbeing.

Since UFCC’s creation, the agency has maintained its original mission of providing quality care to at-risk youth in the community. With role models, family support, strengthened coping skills, and healthy examples of productive lifestyles, UFCC dedicates its resources and expertise to youth and families in the community.
