Project Director
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and (4) years of experience in implementing and managing prevention program and working with under-served youth.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work with elementary, middle and high school students of diverse ethnic backgrounds.
- Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Communicates effectively and in a professional manner with colleagues, school administrators, school staff, parents, guardians, students and all other stakeholders either oral or written.
- Possess characteristics of responsibility, desire to help others, discretion and flexibility.
- Knowledge of basic academic skills application, data analysis and to present in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently applying critical thinking skills and problem solving to various situations.
- Ability to conduct training and presentations.
- Assists in marketing of program for growth and retention.
Performance Responsibilities

Coordinate program implementation with staff, contract staff, community leaders and other partnering agencies

Provide training for contracted staff

Develop monthly afterschool activities

Supervise staff to ensure program goals and objectives are achieved

Maintain all program records and files

Maintain and update statistical information on program participants

Develop a management plan outlining activities, timelines and evaluation for the project

Consult with staff regarding issues related to program participants

Conduct bi-weekly staff meetings with Tutors

Direct and coordinate planning to involve Executive Director, staff, and community representatives

Coordinate and maintain a good working relationship with community leaders

Acts as liaison at community/partnership meetings
-
Attend (2) partnership meetings per month in Levy County
-
Perform other tasks as assigned
