S.W.A.G. specifically designed to reduce juvenile delinquency by increasing students’ interests, creativity, and self-esteem.
Requirements
This program is for individuals in Levy County ages 5-17.
Curriculum
This program is designed to support academic achievement through quality activities and culturally enriching sessions.
Life-Skills
These sessions focus on improving academic achievement, school attendance, and problem behaviors for students. Topics such as substance use, violence, suspension, disruptive behaviors, dropping out, and sexual behaviors will be addressed, as well as helpful solutions to these issues. Ultimately, parent-child bonding, family cohesion, and family conflict will see improvement.
Academic Achievement
Tutors are provided for reading, science, math, writing, and language arts.
