Sexual Risk Avoidance Education 2.0

The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education 2.0 program addresses sexual risk avoidance education. 

Requirements

The focus of the program is to teach participants how to voluntary refrain from non-marital sexual activity, teach the benefits associated with self-regulation, success sequencing for poverty prevention, healthy relationships, goal settings, resisting sexual coercion, dating violence, and other risky behaviors such as underage drinking or illicit drug use without normalizing teen sexual activity.

This program is for youth in Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Duval, Gadsden, Leon, and Union Counties ages 10-19.

Curriculum

The program utilizes the Love Notes 3.0 curriculum, which uses an innovative approach to both pregnancy/ STIs and intimate partner violence prevention within the context of a positive youth development approach, throughout 13 well-defined lessons:
